UAD students poised to graduate
It’s that time of year – the bittersweet time when exceptional students move on to the next season of their lives, and we celebrate their accomplishments and graduation. This year, the UAD celebrates the successful completion of a doctoral degree, two master’s degrees, and several undergraduate degrees. Helena Laciuga, MA CCC-SLP, successfully defended her dissertation entitled “Voluntary cough airflow and true vocal fold kinematics in persons with reduced true vocal fold mobility” and will graduate with her Ph.D. Graduate students Michelle Valenti and Seth Dornisch completed master’s theses and degrees, and undergraduate student Taylor Kreis completed a senior honor’s thesis and her BHS degree. As well, UAD undergraduate students Coral Lozano-Romero, Kierstyn Tietgens, and Emily Tucker, will graduate with their BHS degrees. All of these students have contributed to another successful and productive year of research, and they each deserve thanks and congratulations!
